In Cedar Rapids, two ramps on Interstate 380 will be temporarily shut down overnight, requiring drivers to seek alternative routes. Specifically, the northbound ramp connecting to Wright Brothers Boulevard will be closed for maintenance from Wednesday night through Friday morning. During these hours, a detour will reroute drivers at the 120th Street NW interchange, guiding them back north towards Wright Brothers Boulevard via clearly marked signs. The closures are scheduled as follows:
- From 10:00 p.m. on December 17 until 6:00 a.m. on December 18
- From 10:00 p.m. on December 18 until 6:00 a.m. on December 19
Meanwhile, in North Liberty, the southbound ramp from I-380 onto Penn Street will also face closure, but for a shorter window, from Wednesday night to Thursday morning. Vehicles seeking to exit at this ramp will need to follow the detour at Exit 4 during the following hours:
- From 10:00 p.m. on December 17 until 5:00 a.m. on December 18
